Arise, Awake & Walk - a walkathon by PT universe
On the auspicious 62nd anniversary celebration of Indian Independence day, all members of the PT universe (PT, PROTON and SBM) organized a city walktathon in Indore in which students from the various institutes of PT universe participated with full enthusiasm.
The celebration started with the hoisting of the Tricolour by the team of PT universe. Immediately after the flag hoisting all the students and staff members of PT universe joined in the walk which was inspired by Swami Vivekanad’s thought “Arise, Awake & Walk”.
The Walkathon was led by all senior members of the institutes, and started from the PT universe HQ at Yeshwant Plaza. It covered a distance of 5 kms touching the major points of the city. The Walkthon was full of zeal and passion where students and staff members of PT universe chanted mantras and slogans enthused by the leaders. The energy and zeal of the participants during the Walkathon left the city awestruck.
The walk demonstrated the discipline of PT universe and also gave the message of unity and determination. In the review session after the walk, the students confidently vowed to devote their time, knowledge and skills for the upliftment of today’s India. They realised the difference between talking and walking.
The celebration concluded on a cheerful note, wherein the organising committees congratulated everyone for their effort in making this initiative a success.
